During SD-III and SD-IV Craig has gone out of his way to help us have a great time diving near Ocala. He stayed open late to fill our tanks several times.

Craig gave us his home and cell phone number and came into the shop after hours (the Sunday after SD-IV) so we could return our rental tanks. We needed to return our own tanks plus those of others who had to leave on Saturday. Craig came in late Sunday evening so that we could avoid rushing around on Monday.

He also offered and let us borrow his trans-fill whip so we could transfer air from tank to tank if needed. We were doing many shallow semi-short dives and a full tank was seldom needed. It turned out to be very handy for the night dive at Weeki Wachee were Bryan and Britney might have not been able to dive.

Also very important to us is that, thanks to his good judgment and common sense (perhaps not that common in other dive shops in Florida), he is very accepting of all our vintage gear. He not only filled our tanks, but took an interest in some of our double hose regulators and went diving with us at Alexander Springs, where he tried a couple of double hose regulators.

Sand Dog III and IV would not have been the success that they were without the professional and personal efforts of Craig and Mary of the Aquatic Center of Ocala. Not only did they provide the air support that was needed, they went way beyond their own business interests by being available after normal shop hours for rentals, dive gear and repair. They are truly an asset to the diving community and have become dear friends to us, vintage divers. We thank you and look forward to many more years of Sand Dog events in central Florida.

Upon arrival at Craig and Mary's store (it was already after hours) all three of us had tanks to fill (doubles and singles). Upon walking in we looked around the facility and immediately liked what we saw. We were greeted by some friendly employess and were immediately assisted. They ended up working an additional hour over and did not complain a bit about that. When my friends and I find a store that is as helpful as that we will support the store. We did purchase quite bit of those add on sales items and collectively probably spent an additional 300 dollars that evening. Very professional, nitrox gas blending was right on! and O2 gas fills were also done correctly. The facility IS what they say they are! Many thanks to Dave and Mary and the remainder of the staff. We will see you again on our next excursion.

Well they certainly treated Cyndy and me Wonderfully. They really liked our Vinteage Dive Gear and made us feel Very proud that we are vintage divers. He also had booties with No Soles on them which allowed me to wear my Voit Vikeing Fins in Warm Comfort,ha, ha, ha. That is important. I don't like Cold wherever it is so he really helped make our Diving a relaxing and fun time for us. I would send him an email and pictures if I had it. Maybe it will be posted so we can send him Thank You Messages. I HAVE been giving his name out already to other Dive Clubs and he should have seen them by now, when they went to the Springs around Ocala. The (Scuba Dragons) of Cape Coral were going to try out Alexander and Weeki Wachee Springs soon and even stay at the Red Roof Inn like we did. I gave them copies of all the maps I have . They were impressed with the Sand Dog 111 pictures and the story I told them about our Vacation with the NAVED divers. They are Not vintage divers but just do a lot of Cave Diving. I am trying to get them and others interested in the Vintage Equipment and Join In on the Fun.
